Composition:
Spagyric and/or homeopathic preparations of:

Keynotes:
Useful part of a detoxification protocol in initial stages of case management while dietary lifestyle is being improved.

Liver phase 1 enzyme inhibition due to a diet excessive in calories and junk fat.

Liver stasis due to inactivity or aging.

Dosage:
For very toxic conditions in patients with excess constitution, ¼ to ½ teaspoon taken 2 or 3 times per day.

For more sensitive patients or those with “toxic liver heat” including viral load such as hepatitis, must use much smaller doses such as 2 to 10 drops per dose.

            
Duration of Use:
At the onset of a case, when the patient has been on a terrible diet, use for the first month of treatment while establishing better dietary habits.

Long term use when hepatic function has been compromised depends on the specific clinical presentation.  It is more typical to use the remedy for 2 to 4 weeks at a time intermittently than it is to keep the patient on Apo-Hepat for sustained periods of time.

Combines Well With:
Itires and Renelix as part of the “Detox Kit”.

The typical dose would be:

Apo-Hepat                 1/4 to 1/2 tsp
Itires                            1/4 to 1/2 tsp
Renelix                       1/4 to 1/2 tsp

Take together in water 2 times per day between meals.

Generally Not Combined With:
SyDetox, as Apo-Hepat is more for the hypometabolic or “cold liver” presentation, but SyDetox is more for the hypermetabolic or “hot liver” presentation.
