Back in the 1930’s and into the 1970’s, Dr. Carey Reams, a famous soil biologist that was able to restore soil fertility and cause plants and orchards to grow better than ever. He discovered that the mineral sugar content (aka Brix) in the juice of the fruit or vegetable, determined the health of the plant and its nutritional value. The higher the mineral sugar content or Brix, the more nutritious and healthier the plant.
He could grow a watermelon that would win the blue ribbon at a county fair, then bring that watermelon home and let it set at room temperature on the shelf for another year. Bring it back to the fair the next year and win the blue ribbon again. He repeated these trips to the county fair and won the blue ribbon 3 years in a row with the same watermelon. He proved that the fruit or vegetable in question when raised correctly with correct soil fertility practices, would produce a high brix fruit or vegetable. This high mineral sugar content protected the produce from ever molding or rotting, instead it would merely dehydrate. The number one mineral sugar is calcium complexed with sugars in the plant. Our bodies mineral needs are 80% calcium and 20% the other elements. Therefore, Calcium is the number one most deficient element the body needs.
Unfortunately, food is not grown on truly fertile soil, therefore everyone is starving for the correct calcium and other minerals sugars in the diet. Therefore, the body’s electrochemistry is always out of balance. Dr. Reams discovered a formula for health. He devised that by taking a reading of the urine and saliva pH between 10am and 4pm before a meal on an empty stomach and by measuring the sugar, salt, urea and cell debris levels in the urine, he could know the degree of imbalance in the body. The ideal numbers he discovered were a 1.5 sugar/carbohydrate reading in the urine. A 6.4 urine and saliva pH. A 6.5 conductivity of the urine. A .04 level of cell debris in the urine and a 3/3 level of nitrate and ammoniacal nitrogen in the urine.
To the degree that the readings are out of range would reveal which calcium’s and other supplements the body needed to come back into balance. Distilled water, along with lemon water are the primary fluids used to cleanse the cells and improve liver function. He discovered that it took a variety of calcium’s to restore the body’s ideal electrochemistry. It is said that Dr. Carey Reams had a 99% success rate at restoring people’s health. Therefore, as a central part of understanding your personal imbalance and what to take to support a restored electrochemistry, you will supply me 4 oz of urine and 1 oz or 2 tbsp.of saliva for this assessment. If you are not able to come to my home/office in person, then you will ship overnight the required 4 oz of urine and 1 oz. or 2 tbsp. of saliva.
Ideally you will use plastic, sealable cups, to ship your specimen to me. If you are putting your specimens into sealable glass jars, then make sure you pack them so that they are well protected from breaking. When I was 15, a well-meaning, but lethally misinformed, doctor of dentistry put two, hefty mercury fillings into my teeth. On that same day, I got a very bad sore throat. The sore throat persisted for days and did not subside like normal sore throats do. I was put on antibiotics for 20 days. Antibiotics killed the beneficial bacteria in my gut. Digestive health cannot happen without well-functioning gut flora, which has to be dominated by specific species of bacteria and yeasts. These gut floras protect us from toxic substances by neutralizing or “grabbing” the toxins and holding them tight.
A study was done on animals given high amounts of organic mercury in their water and food. During this study, one group of animals was treated with antibiotics and another was not. In the animals that did not receive antibiotics, only one percent of that mercury managed to get into the body from the digestive tract, due to the presence of robust, healthy intestinal flora. In the animals treated by antibiotics, about 95% of the mercury got into their bodies, their blood streams, bones, muscles and everywhere else. Since these animals did not have healthy intestinal flora due to antibiotic exposure, the mercury ultimately went throughout the digestive tract and organs systems, killing intestinal nerves, stopping enzymes from working, and causing Candida.
Throughout my childhood, I was very athletic, coordinated, and had a happy disposition. Prior to receiving mercury fillings, I was normal in my elimination. It was not until after the fillings that my chronic constipation began. Since I remembered what good health felt like, I wanted to know what went wrong. In 1976, I began my search for higher health. I went to many different Holistic Practitioners, but none of them could help me to any significant degree. No amount of supplements, colonics, juice fasting, wheat grass juice, raw vegetarianism or raw meat eating corrected the chronic intestinal sluggishness. It was only after 9 months of a specific mercury detoxification supplement program that my intestinal function returned to normal by 75%. Today, it has returned to normal by 95%.
In 1998 after 24 years of searching for the answers, I finally learned that mercury was at the foundation of many different diseases. Personally, I had a combination of conditions from mercury poisoning. The two most dominate were chronic constipation and under functioning adrenal glands.
